Pin bending
When the pin needs to be bent, in order to avoid too large external force to enter the body along the pin, the tool must be clamped between the bending points of the pin and the body. Improper bending of pins can damage the chip, resulting in deterioration or reliability of electrical properties, such as poor moisture resistance. Some of the rules of the pin bend are as follows:
The 1.1. lead should be firmly clamped between the bending point and the plastic body. It is suggested that the distance between the bending point and the noumenon (X) is as follows:
X = 2 mm for DO-41, DO-15, Case.
X = 3 mm for DO-201AD Case.
X = 4 mm for R-6 Case.
1.2. do not hold the plastic body. The forming tool should not damage the guide foot or the plastic body.
The 1.3. pin can only be bent once, and the angle of the bend should not be higher than 90 degrees.
The 1.4. pin must complete the shape of the bend before fixing it to the PCB or the radiator.
